peppermint

I was bored and decided to do some ink and digital color tonight. Then I realized it looked too much like some of Erick Jones' and Tomer's work, plus the top face still looks like me. Guh. But hey, its summer already and I'm enjoying the 10 hours of sleep a day. I've been working on a small landscape, a classy portrait of my mum, and working on some shirt designs for a new brand my friend is launching this summer. I'll post them up once they're all done, but for now here's my ink piece and a mock up girls shirt I made for the new brand. Simple stuff, nothing too crazy. Oh, and I can't forget that random kid I sketched off of some article I saw online..... he was just cool looking.

I'm kind of bummed that the year's over. Friends are leaving and starting anew chapter in their lives, and I start my last year of college in a couple months D: ack! But regardless, the summer is gonna be full of new work hopefully, and I've already started.

















On another note, I cleaned out my house and laid out all my work from this year.... and it was wayyy more than I expected, in part because it was all huddled together and didn't seem like too much. Craazyyyy.

Ladies and gents, Illest prep is coming early this year. We wanted people to be involved and be able to submit work for us and not have it interfere with school once it starts. Plus this way everyone can spend however much time they want on on whatever it is they want to hand in. The official website will be launched sometime this summer!
