We've been having these daily sketch topics on the "doodles and shit" blog, and yesterday's was tank girl. I went out last night and couldn't finish her up, but I finally did today, and I'm kinda happy with how it turned out.
I started this ink drawing yesterday, and had colors and font in mind, but nothing to promote with it. Today I went ahead and decided I'd make a fictional tour for some bands I like, and this is what I got.
sample I was asked to do a demo during one of the figure classes I TA for. I did a quick sample this morning before the class, and then I knocked out the drawing in 12 minutes for the demo later today. I'm kinda happy with it since I haven't drawn in white on dark paper in a long time. The cool part is I get to do an art trade with Brandes, so he gets my demo drawing and I get one of his sweet demos in return.
Since pre-college has started I've been working on a lot of random shit, and it's mostly what the kids have been doing in the illustration class that I TA for. This week they started watercolor so I did a portrait of Anthony Hopkins.
